Watch the video for InCA Lesson 6.2 (Right Triangle Trigonometry) – Trigonometry Applications. Note that this video is hosted on edPuzzle, which you’ll need to log in to in order to access. Please log in with your ICSD Google Account.
Find the full notes and Problem Set 1 here (or the version with Ms. Burke’s parts already completed here). The notes and problem set are all one document. Print them out to follow along with Ms. Burke’s video, or write out your work on a separate piece of paper.
As noted in our master schedule, the video + notes and Problem Set 1 are due on Wednesday at 2:00. Both are worth 4 points each (in SchoolTool), and you must watch the entire video for credit.
We will have our Virtual Classroom on Zoom from 1:00 to 2:00 today. Details will be posted separately and will be sent to you by email. Attendance to the Virtual Classroom is optional, however please prewatch the video above BEFORE ATTENDING this virtual classroom session.

The next part of this week’s assignment, a guided Desmos lesson, can be found here (student code H9YDEK). Be sure to click the Sign in with Google button to connect your answers to your ICSD account. Pay attention to the feedback the activity gives you, and I’ll leave you some feedback as well.
Completing this activity is due on Friday, 4/24 at 2:00 pm, and will be worth 8 points. A -1 point penalty will be imposed for late work. The last question of the assignment is “extra credit.” Complete it correctly for an extra point!

Problem Set 2 for this week can be found here (as a Google Form) or here (as a PDF download). Submit your answers to this and to your Desmos activity by Friday, 4/24 at 2:00 pm. You must obtain a minimum score of five out of 12 points to receive credit, but your grade will not be based on how many points you get (just whether or not you made that cutoff). If you submit via the Google Form, the form will tell you which answers were right or wrong, and should give you an option to go back and revise as needed to reach the target score.
Reaching the target score is worth 8 points in SchoolTool. Submitting the work but not reaching the target score is worth 6 points. A -1 point penalty will be imposed for late work.
The last question of the assignment is “extra credit.” Complete it correctly for an extra point!
